PRE ORDER Phoenix Brooch (flames or no flames)

The Phoenix has become a bit of a symbol of mine of the last few years. as such this design was inspired by that and the times in life that I have been mentally pulled down. Each time I have learnt from the situations, drawn strength out of them and have risen stronger than ever like the phoenix. I hope this piece empowers the wearer as much as it does myself!

This unusual phoenix brooch is quite a statement piece measuring approximately w75mm x h76mm when worn. The piece consists of a striking yellow gold glitter acrylic, red pearl marble, orange pearl marble with a little gold glitter, gold mirror, gold metallic and frosted yellow acrylic as well as mirror acrylic for the flames which are optional. The jump rings used to attach the flames are anti tarnish gold plated stainless steel and they have a thin painted and varnished plywood backs for lightness. The overall brooch looks heavy but clever layering means it is really lightweight weighing in at 20grams (including the flames). It also has a 38mm nickel plated brooch back glued securely and horizontally at the back. Please note that this piece isn't totally flat at the back due to me wanting to make the piece lighter, less chunky and in my opinion more wearable. I don't believe it hangs strangely because of this and a flat version was trialed.

You're welcome to request a red or gold tail instead of yellow but I do recommend the yellow as I personally think it works better. Custom colour changes also make pieces non returnable too.

All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The brooch is engraved with 'Rock The Panda' and the year it was designed (2024) on the back. It also comes in it's own box. You can find matching flame earrings on the shop as well as a necklace in the same design.

All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

Important Info -
Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections.
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water. Some acrylic, particularly pearl marble acrylic can deteriorate with time (years usually). The surface becomes slightly of pitted/blemished. This can't be avoided unfortunately.

Please be aware that different lighting and being viewed on various screens can show colours slightly differently.

Shipping -

Orders are shipped in either boxes or in thick padded jiffy green envelopes both of which are recyclable. Tissue paper is used as padding and also biodegradable bubble wrap to protect pieces such as necklaces. Please re use or recycle the packaging responsibly.

If you're outside of the UK just be aware that you may get a custom fee upon delivery.
Shipping outside of the UK is tracked. UK orders are posted with Tracked 48hr but you can upgrade to tracked 24 or special delivery at the checkout. Orders to Australia can take 2-8 weeks to arrive. Due to Brexit orders to Europe can now take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to arrive.
