FAQs

Where are you based and where do you ship from?

Rock The Panda is based in Sheffield, UK and everything is made and shipped from there too.

Who runs Rock The Panda?

Rock The Panda is run solely by myself (Ruth Anna Moore). Everything you see except some help with this website is designed and made by me!

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes I ship will ship anywhere in the world. My Etsy store is already set up for this and most countries have been included on here, however if your country isn't please email me at hello@rockthepanda.com and I will try to add your country.

Do you combine orders?

Yes I'm happy to combine orders if you've placed multiple orders. Please email me your name and order number within 12 hours of ordering. I will then refund the excess shipping and combime them.

Do you do alterations?

If you would like a chain lengthening/shortening or earrings changed into clip ons, I will happily do this for you. Please email me your name, order number and details on what you would like me to change. If you would like the backing of a design changing for example from wood to acrylic (or vice versa) or if you have any other alteration requests depending on the request I may be able to do it. You can also email me at hello@rockthepanda.com

Do you do custom orders?

Other than the above the only thing I can really offer is slight colour changes to a design but I would have to already stock the acrylic and would need to be confident it would work. Unfortunately I don't tend to do bespoke custom pieces as usually the hours spent designing, doing files and prototyping is spread across a lot of pieces so if I was to create a one off custom piece all the time would go into that one piece meaning it would be a lot more expensive (extortionate) than my usual pieces. If this is something you don't mind or if the piece would be shown on tv feel free to get in touch but I can't guarantee I will be able to due to my schedule.

For all of the above please also bare in mind that any custom or altered pieces will be none refundable.

Do you offer pieces for Wholesale?

Although it can be quite difficult for me to offer some pieces at some wholesale rates I'm always open to it so feel free to email me to discuss.

Do you stock pieces anywhere else?

Currently I only sell from this website and on Etsy.

Are pieces limited?

I've never made more than 50 of one piece so far so they are limited in that there aren't many in the world! In terms of release days though, unless there is a reason designs will only be listed as fully made (reasons such recycled acrylic or variations), pieces are put up as part made pre orders (made to order) and are capped. However they don't usually reach their caps and they will be relisted (material permitting) once pre orders are complete. I so sometimes retire pieces but often after 6-12months and I normally mention this on social media. If you've seen a piece you're interested in from pre 2021 though, all those pieces were made with my old laser cutter and are now retired.

Is the jewellery suitable for children?

I would say that my jewellery isn't suitable for children under the age of 14 as there are small parts within the designs that could be a chocking hazard if they come loose. The jewellery also needs to be handled carefully and treated well.

What metal are the findings used within the jewellery and is it possible to change it?

I currently always use stainless steel for chains besides one chunky type that is aluminium. Stainless steel is very suitable for jewellery as it is strong and very anti tarnish so it should stay the same for years as opposed to plated non precious metals. I recommend keeping the chains stainless steel but it may be possible to replace some with a fine silver one. The earring posts I use are surgical steel which is nickel free and hypoallergenic. In rare cases some people may however be allergic to it or perhaps some people would prefer sterling silver and so I can source sterling silver posts if requested to do so via email hello@rockthepanda.com. The earrings hoops I use are made from stainless steel but there could be an alternative such as silver or gold plated silver that I can also source.
