PRE ORDER Ladybird Brooch Yellow

This ladybird brooch was inspired by my childhood love of ladybirds. I focused on the different wing stages when I designed the statement necklace and felt this was the best shape for the brooch. Each brooch is quite chunky but is backed with 1mm black acrylic  so is easy to wear. I thought long and hard about the layering of these and remembered that you can get 5mm coloured acrylic so it was perfect for the layering of this piece to make them appear layered like real ladybirds with the order of the wings. The outer coloured wings are made from plain yellow acrylic and the spots are engraved and painted, and have a layer on uv resin over the top. This is done by hand so they will vary a little. The transparent wings have a likeness to real ladybird wings and are made from an ink/smoke like tortoishell acrylic, and the bodies are a greyish bronze mirror acrylic. If you prefer the plain orange or the red from the statement necklace, you can request these via email or the order notes. 

The design measures approximately 45mm(h)x57mm(w) and has a brooch back glued on horizontally. There will be a little variation in the tortoishell acrylic but the rest will look the same. All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The brooch has the Rock The Panda logo and year made engraved on the back and comes in it's own box. All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

Important Info -

Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections.
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water.

Safety Information -

Rock The Panda jewellery is not a toy. Please keep out of reach of children under 3 years old due to small parts and a potential choking hazard. Chains on necklaces may be a strangulation hazard, particularly if they get entangled or caught on other objects. Wear with care. Brooch pins may cause pricking injury if mishandled. Handle with care, keep them pinned to the foam pad provided or on clothes when worn. If the acrylic of a product is broken from eg. dropping, sharp edges may occur and may cause injury such as cuts and scratches if mishandled whilst loose pieces may be a choking hazard.

Rock The Panda jewellery is also not suitable for children under 12 years old.

The chains and findings used comply with British and European nickel release regulations (REACH Standards)
