PRE ORDER Chinese Inspired Double Cloud Earrings Silver & White

I've always admired Chinese dragons and Lunar year of the dragon was the perfect time to design one! Chinese dragons don't tend to breathe fire, they breathe clouds instead so you'll often see them surrounded by clouds and flying around in the air, hence why there's clouds in this collection!

I've pushed myself really hard with this collection and I've spent quite some time on it to get it right. I hope you like the designs!

These double cloud earrings were inspired by and match both the blue/green Chinese dragon colourways. They were the first style of matching earrings that I made for the collection as I wanted to create some that were a a bit unusual as there's so many cloud earrings available elsewhere. It's quite difficult to do a lot with the form but I came up with these which I really love! They sit comfortably with the surgical steel posts glued on slightly to one side and they're then secured with butterfly backs. The clouds are made from white pearlescent acrylic which has a nice shimmer to it, and a magical fine silver glitter acrylic all backed onto thin plywood which is painted black and varnished. I decided to cut the swirls rather than paint them as it just looked so much better to when I tested a painted version. They do create offcuts but as I'm not a really big business and I can easily recycle offcuts into new sheets I felt that it is worth it. They measure approximately 44mm x 33mm with the top cloud being 30mm in width. 

All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom. 
The earrings come in their own box and you can find matching items on the shop. 

All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

Important Info -

Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections. 
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water. Some acrylic, particularly pearl marble acrylic can deteriorate with time (years usually). The surface becomes slightly of pitted/blemished. This can't be avoided unfortunately.

Please be aware that different lighting and being viewed on various screens can show colours slightly differently.

Safety Information -

Rock The Panda jewellery is not a toy. Please keep out of reach of children under 3 years old due to small parts and a potential choking hazard. Chains on necklaces may be a strangulation hazard, particularly if they get entangled or caught on other objects. Wear with care. Brooch pins may cause pricking injury if mishandled. Handle with care, keep them pinned to the foam pad provided or on clothes when worn. If the acrylic of a product is broken from eg. dropping, sharp edges may occur and may cause injury such as cuts and scratches if mishandled whilst loose pieces may be a choking hazard.

Rock The Panda jewellery is also not suitable for children under 12 years old.
