PRE ORDER Chinese Inspired Cloud Studs Black & White (2 types)

I've always admired Chinese dragons and Lunar year of the dragon was the perfect time to design one! Chinese dragons don't tend to breathe fire, they breathe clouds instead so you'll often see them surrounded by clouds and flying around in the air, hence why there's clouds in this collection!

I've pushed myself really hard with this collection and I've spent quite some time on it to get it right. I hope you like the designs!

These cloud studs were inspired by and match my red Chinese dragon pieces. They sit comfortably with the surgical steel posts glued on slightly to one side and they're then secured with butterfly backs. The clouds are made from white pearlescent acrylic which has a nice shimmer to it, and black plain acrylic all backed onto thin plywood which is painted black and varnished. I decided to cut the swirls rather than paint them as it just looked so much better to when I tested a painted version. They do create offcuts but as I'm not a really big business and I can easily recycle offcuts into new sheets I felt that it is worth it. They measure approximately 30mm x 11mm. If you wanted an asymmetric pair you can request that via the notes but otherwise the black with white swirls match the statement necklace and the others match the brooch/brooch style necklace.

All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The earrings come in their own box and you can find matching items on the shop. The black with white swirls match the statement necklace and the white with black swirls match the brooch/necklace.

All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

Important Info -
Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections.
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water. Some acrylic, particularly pearl marble acrylic can deteriorate with time (years usually). The surface becomes slightly of pitted/blemished. This can't be avoided unfortunately.

Please be aware that different lighting and being viewed on various screens can show colours slightly differently.

Shipping -

Orders are shipped in either boxes or in thick padded jiffy green envelopes both of which are recyclable. Tissue paper is used as padding and also biodegradable bubble wrap to protect pieces such as necklaces. Please re use or recycle the packaging responsibly.

If you're outside of the UK just be aware that you may get a custom fee upon delivery.
Shipping outside of the UK is tracked. UK orders are posted with Tracked 48hr but you can upgrade to tracked 24 or special delivery at the checkout. Orders to Australia can take 2-8 weeks to arrive. Due to Brexit orders to Europe can now take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to arrive.
