PRE ORDER Chinese Dragon Brooch or Necklace GREEN

I've always admired Chinese dragons and Lunar year of the dragon was the perfect time to design one! Chinese dragons don't tend to breathe fire, they breathe clouds instead so you'll often see them surrounded by clouds and flying  around in the air. This was the first colourway I made so it'll always be quite special to me. I'd say it's maybe the most traditional of the four released so far and it is the most sophisticated looking. I would say it is the most versatile of the dragon colourways in terms of what colours you can wear it with. It's quite a large size brooch but it is quite lightweight and easy to wear.

I've pushed myself really hard with this collection and I've spent quite some time on it to get it right. I hope you like the designs!

This is a striking brooch that measures approximately w90mm x h63mm when worn. The piece consists of a beautiful hand mixed green acrylic that has about 3 shades of green running through it as well as what can only be described as a stunning yellow gold dust which catches the light beautifully. It's then accented with a lemon yellow marble pearl acrylic, gold metallic acrylic and red pearl marble acrylic whilst the dragons eye and teeth are pearlescent white and the clouds are white pearl marble acrylic with gold metallic swirls, all backed onto a circular metallic gold background. For the brooch, there is a large 39mm brooch back glued on the back horizontally which sits in an engraved section to ensure it's straight. The chain is made from anti tarnish gold plated stainless steel and I'm wearing the necklace on the shortest length in the photo. The chain measures approximately 38.5cm extending to 49cm. If you think you'll need extra length you can message me or leave me a note for a couple more inches of the main chain but I will say that the necklace can't really be worn any lower as I don't think it will sit right.  Please also note that the back plate behind the head has been cut away on the brooch version to make it lighter and less chunky there. This doesn't make it sit strangely though and note that there will be variation in the green acrylic so no two will be exactly the same!
All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The necklace has the Rock The Panda logo and year it was designed (2024) engraved on the back, and comes in it's own box.

All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

Important Info -
Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections.
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water. Some acrylic, particularly pearl marble acrylic can deteriorate with time (years usually). The surface becomes slightly of pitted/blemished. This can't be avoided unfortunately.

Please be aware that different lighting and being viewed on various screens can show colours slightly differently.

Shipping -

Orders are shipped in either boxes or in thick padded jiffy green envelopes both of which are recyclable. Tissue paper is used as padding and also biodegradable bubble wrap to protect pieces such as necklaces. Please re use or recycle the packaging responsibly.

If you're outside of the UK just be aware that you may get a custom fee upon delivery.
Shipping outside of the UK is tracked. UK orders are posted with Tracked 48hr but you can upgrade to tracked 24 or special delivery at the checkout. Orders to Australia can take 2-8 weeks to arrive. Due to Brexit orders to Europe can now take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to arrive.
