PRE ORDER Honey Bee Hoop Earrings

These honey bee hoop earrings are super light and easy to wear. The bees are made from plain black Perspex, yellow frosted acrylic, transparent acrylic as well as a little mirror acrylic but also feature a circular recycled piece that is made from several offcuts in my workshop. Pieces that use recycled acrylic may be more limited in numbers than my usual range.

Each bee measures approximately 28mm(h) x 45mm(w) and hangs on a gold plated stainless steel hoop with a butterfly back. There will be variation in the recycled acrylic but generally these are quite consistent.
Please handle them with extra care as they're quite delicate. All work is solely done by Rock The Panda designer and maker Ruth Anna Moore in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The earrings come off the hoops in they're own box. All Rock The Panda designs will be limited. They won't ever be mass produced.

The hoops on these have changed so the photo and video of myself wearing them are the old hoops. The new ones are just thicker with bigger spheres but they hang the same. See photo for comparison between them.

About the recycled acrylic - 

I've kept all my acrylic offcuts since I started Rock The Panda back in 2018 as I knew that one day there would be a way to use them. That day has come! I'm now able to recycle acrylic into new sheets with heat, pressure, time and care. It's very exciting and means that my little business has become a lot more environmentally friendly.

Each new small sheet takes a long time to make; I can only really make 1 (about a 18cm square surface) sheet a day and they require a lot of attention to ensure that the result is properly fused together. It is a process I experimented with for a few weeks prior to getting a usable sheet!

Although a machine is involved in the making of the recycled acrylic and the new type is very similar looking to regular non recycled acrylic please bear in mind that there may be tiny surface marks, little dimples, varying thicknesses and occasionally raised areas around thin sections of the design (this doesn't happen often though).

Important Info -
Due to my works handmade nature and the fact that some of the acrylic sheet is handmade itself, there will be slight differences in each piece and may be minor imperfections.
Stainless steel is very resilient to tarnish but it may darken slightly over time.

Acrylic can be quite delicate. Handle with care, clean with a soft microfibre cloth and keep your brooch/necklace in the box provided when not being worn. Each piece is water resistant but not waterproof. Please don't immerse in water.

Shipping -
Orders are shipped in either boxes or in thick padded jiffy green envelopes both of which are recyclable. Tissue paper is used as padding and also biodegradable bubble wrap to protect pieces such as necklaces. Please re use or recycle the packaging responsibly.

If you're outside of the UK just be aware that you may get a custom fee upon delivery.
Shipping outside of the UK is tracked. UK orders are posted with Tracked24hr, Tracked48hr or special delivery (you decide at the checkout). Orders to Australia can take 2-8 weeks to arrive. Due to Brexit orders to Europe can now take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to arrive.
